Yesterday’s Results for Bucknell vs Akron

Analysis: I'm clearly not calling for the outright upset victory, but I do think the back door will be left wide open in the second half for the Bison to comfortably stampede through with all the points they've been afforded on Wednesday night. Bucknell is just 2-7, including only 1-3 on the road, while Akron is 6-2 overall, including 4-0 at home. The Bison have faced some pretty good teams this year, and they've been an underdog in every game so far this season except their opener against Delaware, a game they won 78-70 as 2.5-point favorites. They played two MAC opponents last week in Bowling Green and Buffalo, and while they lost both games, they did go on to cover in each. Akron is 3-1 in its last four (both SU and ATS), most recently hammering Milwaukee 105-81 as 12.5-point favorites, but with a much more difficult game at 6-2 Tulane this weekend, I believe the Zips will be caught looking ahead in the second half and take the foot off the proverbial gas pedal. I expect the Bison to lose, but to keep it competitive down the stretch. So grab the points ***CBB SHOCKER
