Analysis
#920 ORIOLES RUN LINE with Kremer (-) over Rockies with Freeland at 7:05 PM EST After facing the Guardians and Devil Rays on the road and posting a combined 2-5 record, the Orioles will have no trouble extending the margin when they step way down in class and battle the Rockies on Friday night. Colorado enters this matchup off a pair of surprising home wins over St. Louis and this trip to Camden Yards will be a difficult one for manager Warren Schaeffer and his kids. Veteran right-hander Dean Kremer will toe the rubber for the O's. In 2025, No. 64 has made 20 trips to the bump (19 starts) and allowed 52 earned runs and 114 hits in 115.1 innings of work. Dean fanned 94 and issued 30 free passes on his way to a 8-7 record with a 4.06 ERA. Equally impressive, in his last six outings, Kremer surrendered just eight earned runs and 26 hits in 36.0 frames. That's good enough for a 3-0 mark with a powerful 2.00 ERA. Aging southpaw Kyle Freeland will counter for the road squad. So far this year, No. 21 has made 18 starts and been smashed for 55 earned runs and 121 hits in 95.1 innings. Kyle fanned 70 and issued 25 free passes on his way to a shocking 2-10 mark with a rough 5.19 ERA. Since June 27th, Freeland has made four starts and been punished for 13 earned runs and 23 hits in 21.2 frames. That breaks down to a 1-2 tally with a weak 5.40 ERA. It certainly won't take much to fade the Rocks here either. Colorado owns a run line mark of 42-60 in its last 102 battles overall, has slipped in 72 of its last 131 versus the run line as a guest, has dropped 19 of its last 31 against the run line when competing with one day of rest, and fallen in 138 of its last 158 when priced as an underdog. Since June 19th, the Rockies have failed to win three straight and they will have all kinds of trouble against an O's arm that is peaking right now. Take Baltimore on the run line. Thanks and best of luck, Tom.
