There's no question that the French product, Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard has been struggling recently. He's lost three consecutive matches and hasn't been able to crack through against the best of the best players quite yet. That being said, I believe that this switch back to the hard courts should help him tremendously. He just lost to Taylor Fritz, the #5 in the world in an epic five setter at Wimbledon. Fritz went on to the Semi Finals.
On the other hand, I just won against Aleksandar Vukic a few days ago in his straight sets loss against Nava in Los Cabos. Vukic is also not playing great right now and it's only going to get worse if he draws more opponents like this one. The Aussie lacks the power to compete in this sort of matchup and I expect a ton of aces for the Frenchman. This should be done in straight sets as well, but I'll take the full match just to be safe.
