Spencer Strider (3-7, 3.93 ERA) vs. JP Sears (7-7, 4.76 ERA) .
Even though Spencer Strider has not recorded too many wins so far since returning from his injury, I still believe that he is a top level arm in this league and will be able to shake it off in the second half of the season. Atlanta needs to start winning and pitching better will only help the offense gain momentum.
It's going to be hard for the offense to score tonight though against a real tough arm in Sears. No, Sears doesn't have the best of stats so far this season either. But, he's coming off a tremendous outing going six shutout innings to finish last week. I expect runs to be hard to come by in this matchup on Thursday evening.
