- The Angels have strung together five wins in a row but their late inning relievers have been taxed, especially Kenley Jansen. The Halo closer has pitched in five of the last six games and shouldn't be available tonight. If he is, I doubt he'll have anything. It shouldn't matter anyway because I believe the A's will take it to Angels' starter, Jack Kochanowicz. The righthander is off a 104 pitch effort against the Dodgers, easily the most pitches he's thrown in a MLB game. He's walked eight batters in his last 12.1 innings and averages nearly 4 walks per 9 innings on the season. This is the wrong ballpark to put batters on base.
