- I'm looking for plenty of fireworks in this one, as we have a very slow Vermont team that will be facing an uptempo Yale squad that will force a high-scoring tilt. The Bulldogs have been torched for 100 and 84 points in their last two games, so that should give Vermont hope it can push the pace and play a little better than the team that ranks 308th in points scored per possession and 344th in total possessions per game. Yale is allowing 73.8 points per game, and seven of its eight totals have landed high. As the 8-point favorite, Yale is expected to set the tone, and by sucking the Catamounts into a faster pace, we're going to see the Vermont offense that scored 75 or more in three of its first 10 games. This one will creep over.
