They had a rough start to their season losing their first 2 games against the Montana Grizzlies and the Michigan Wolverines. They have corrected their bad start though, winning their last 2 games against the Arkansas State Red Wolves and the California Golden Bears in their last game at Husky Stadium. Dylan Morris had a good game in their last one as he completed 19/32 passes for 234 yards and 2 touchdowns. They did not get much of a run game going in that one as Sean McGrew led the team in rushing with 53 yards and 2 touchdowns on 16 carries. Devin Culp led the receivers with 81 yards on 5 receptions while Rome Odunze had 3 catches for 56 yards. No one else really had a big game for the receiving corps in that one. Kyler Gordon dominated on the defense with 9 solo tackles, 1 assisted one, and 2 interceptions. No one else on the defense had an interception in the game but Brendan Radley-Hiles, Ryan Bowman, and Faatui Tuitele all had 1 sack each in the game. They have scored 100 points in their first 4 games and they have allowed their opponents to score 71 points against them. Their offense is averaging 389.5 YPG while their defense is allowing 336 YPG.

 

 

The University of Oregon State is coming into this game with a 3-1 record overall and they are 2-0 in their home games this season where they will be playing in this game as they are the host. Baylor had a massive day in the run game as he led the team in rushing with 158 yards on 23 carries. Chance Nolan and Deshaun Fenwick both scraped up a little over 50 rushing yards each but no one else had a big game in that department. Tyjon Lindsey had a nice day for the receiving corps as he led the team in receiving with 102 yards and 2 touchdowns on 5 receptions. Avery Roberts led the defense with 6 solo tackles and 4 assisted ones. Andrzej Hughes-Murray and Riley Sharp both recorded 1 sack each in that game while Alton Julian and Rejzohn Wright each came away with 1 interception. They have scored 153 points in their first 4 games and they have allowed their opponents to score 84 points against them. Their offense is averaging 339.8 YPG while their defense is allowing 261.8 YPG.

 

Oregon State will have a lot of confidence in this game as they are coming off of a big conference upset win on the road against USC. They have scored at least 42 points in each of their last 3 games on this winning streak and 2 of those games they were facing an FBS opponent in. Their defense has not allowed more than 27 points in a game since that first loss either. The Washington Huskies football team has had some questionable performances this year in 3 of their games already with a loss to Montana in week 1, a blowout loss to Michigan, and a close OT win at home against Cal in a conference game. The only game they really played well in was against Arkansas State. Oregon State is a good team this year and they will come to play hard in this one.
