Washington vs California Prediction

The current betting odds have California listed as a 7.5 point underdog in this game according to Draftkings Sportsbook. California hasn't been that great this year but they have had some good performances against tough teams. They just took a really bad loss in Colorado though as Colorado has been one of the worst teams in the PAC-12 for years now, and they lost that game in OT too so they had plenty of chances to win it. They are going to be upset over that loss and they will bring their best effort back home here. Washington has been really good in their games this year but they have been much more of a home team as they have lost both of their road games. They haven't been as good on defense in their games lately either as they are giving up a ton of points, and Cal will be able to score on them keeping this game close with the way that defense has been. Their offense has also struggled in those road games and California has had a much better offense at home. Washington is not a team that can be trusted on the road with the way they have played there this year and this Cal team has not been bad in their home games. The best way to place a bet here is on California to cover the spread in this game.

Notable Quotes

"It's not just about what he did statistically. He just keeps putting the pressure on and leading the charge to help us win the football game. We needed all those points and all those yards that he gave us." - Kalen DeBoer after his team’s win against Arizona in their last game.

"It's very hard to win at this level scoring one touchdown. You've got to put the ball in the end zone, and credit to them. They did it more than we did." - Justin Wilcox after his team’s loss against Colorado in their last game.
