Commanders vs Lions Prediction

The current betting odds have the Commanders listed as a 1 point underdog in this game according to Draftkings Sportsbook. The Commanders pulled off a big win at home over the Jags in their season opener but now they go on the road here and the Lions have not been a very bad team at all. Despite their record last season, the Lions kept a lot of their losses really close and that held true in Week 1 with a 3 point loss against the Eagles. The Lions were also trailing by a lot in that game though, they did a good job to comeback but they are still not a team that is good at taking leads and hanging on. The Commanders were pretty much in charge of their game against the Jags and Carson Wentz did play well too. Wentz has had a rough career but when he is playing like he did in Week 1 then he is a bet on until he turns back into a pumpkin again. The Lions are favored here but the Commanders are the better team. The Commanders have the better QB, the better defense, and they have the better coach in Ron Rivera who will find a way to scheme his team to victory here. The best way to place a bet here is on the Commanders to cover the spread and win this game.
