Their defense is pretty solid though as they haven't given up many points in their 3 games and it may be the only thing that keeps them in this game. They are on the road here so the defense will need to step up here but Syracuse is a team they usually get up for as they have a great ATS record against them in the past, and the offense needs to respond with a better performance in this conference game as well. Syracuse has looked good this season in their games but they have been winning very close games and they struggled to move the ball in the 1st half last week against Purdue. With the good defense on UVA, this could be another game where they get off to a slow offensive start and that will be what keeps them in this game. The best way to place a bet here is on UVA to cover the spread in this game.
