Three of the eight underdogs got it done in MLB on Monday, with two games a pick. Last night's Big Dawg that barked loudest once again was the Miami Marlins (+140 DraftKings), winning 11-0 at home against the Toronto Blue Jays.
I went 2-0 on Monday with a pair of underdog winners, cashing my MLB Dog of the Month on the Boston Red Sox in a 9-3 win over the Minnesota Twins, and my N.L. West Dog of the Month on the San Francisco Giants in their 7-4 extra-innings win over the San Diego Padres. I'm now on a 9-4 MLB roll for $4,320 NET$ since June 13. Tonight I love ONE GAME from the diamond and it's the only game I like on the entire card. I make it 10 of 14 with MLB Releases, as I cash another top play for June, this very easy DIVISION GAME OF THE MONTH.
It's been quite a month for the Marlins, who have now won five straight and 13 of 16 since June 2. During the 16-game stretch, Miami is hitting .273 and slugging .416, while boasting an OPS of .757. Over the 16 games, the Marlins have hit 15 homers and are averaging 5.6 runs per game.
As for their pitching, the Marlins have a 2.99 ERA since June 2, while their pitchers have held teams to a .224 batting average and have limited opponents to just 12 home runs.
