Vanderbilt vs Georgia Prediction

The current betting odds have Georgia listed as a 39.5 point underdog in this game according to Draftkings Sportsbook. Georgia hasn't looked great in recent weeks but they bounced back with a much better game last week when they beat Auburn 42-10. Their offense looked back on track in that game but more importantly their defense, which is their true strength, looked a lot better as they held Auburn to just 10 points in the game. They are getting a similar team in Vanderbilt here as Vandy is just as bad, but they play differently as well. They have more of an offense but their defense is very bad and they are going to make it too easy for Georgia to move the ball up the field and score points here. Georgia also has a very good defense that looked back on track last week and as many points as this Vandy offense can score, they are still going to struggle against this defense. Vandy has already been blown out once by a top 3 team when they lost 55-3 to Alabama and this will be a very similar game as Georgia needs to prove themselves once again after the last few weeks they have been having. The best way to place a bet here is on Georgia to cover the spread in this game.
