This will be the 5th conference matchup on their schedule this year and they are in a good position right now with a 3-1 record in their conference games this season. UTEP just had their 4 game winning streak snapped in their last game with a loss to FAU. UTSA vs UTEP Prediction

UTSA is coming into this game as a 12.5 point favorite with the current betting odds according to Draftkings Sportsbook. They have been playing very well in all of their games this season and they are on a mission right now to go undefeated and win the C-USA Title. UTEP was on a great streak where they were playing so well but they were stopped in their tracks in their last game against a LT side that only has 1 win in conference games, that win coming against UTEP. UTSA is just a much better team here and they are determined to go undefeated this season. The best bet to place in this game is on UTSA to cover the spread.

Notable Quotes

“They proactively engaged me on an extension discussion at the start of the season, and my staff and I are thrilled about what the future holds for this program. I say this all the time, but this game is about the players and they are the reason we are in this profession to begin with. This is exactly why we have chosen to make this announcement today. We should all be talking about what they have accomplished this season, they are making history every week.” - Jeff Traylor on his contract extension after an 8-0 start to the season.

“We’re not ones to play around with this year.” - Jacob Cowing on their 6-2 season so far.
