Utah State vs Wyoming Prediction

The current betting odds have Wyoming listed as a 4.5 point favorite in this game according to Draftkings Sportsbook. Wyoming has been playing a lot better in their last few games compared to the way they started the season, and they have been even better in their home games this year. This is a big conference game for them since they are still 2-1 and they will be looking to get this win and compete for a chance at the MWC title still. Wyoming had a lot of new players at the start of the season but they have been getting better each week and they aren't going to fall flat on their face here at home as they have been tough to beat here all year. USU is actually starting to trend in the opposite direction now with their starting QB still out and their offense just hasn't looked as good without him. They barely beat Colorado State by 4 points in their last game when CSU is a really bad team and now they are going on the road against a much tougher team to beat at home. USU is not going to play well here with their backup QB still in the game and this is a game for Wyoming to lose as they can put themselves in a great position with a win here. The best way to place a bet here is on Wyoming to cover the spread in this game.

Notable Quotes

“Everything for us is day-to-day at this point. They were clearly obvious injuries and with protocols in place it is going to really depend on what happens in the next 24 or 48 hours, what kind of progress those guys make.” - Blake Anderson on who the starting QB will be in this game.

"It was a huge win for us tonight and it is tough to win here at New Mexico. We overcame adversity tonight. We hunkered down on defense and made some plays on offense, and it is great to win on the road. Our guys have really hung in there after the start, and we started the second half strong and that was a tipping point. We are young and had some untimely things happen, but we came back strong and will fix those. We need the bye week and have played weeks of hard nose football." - Craig Bohl after his team’s win against UNM in their last game.
