UConn vs St John's Prediction

UConn has been a very inconsistent team all season with a 7-5 record in their conference games and they have struggled on the road as well with a 3-4 record in those games. They are coming off of a loss in their last game on the road to Xavier and they have lost their last 2 games on the road. Even their conference wins on the road have not been impressive winning by just a few points in each. They are going up against a St. John's side that has struggled all season though and they are only 5-7 in their conference games. They have not been bad at home though going 10-5 this season and they have won 2 of their last 3 games, coming off of a loss to Villanova who is one of the best in the conference. St. John's will be seeking their revenge here for the loss UConn handed them earlier in the season but UConn did not even win that game by double digits and they were at home. St. John's is a tricky team to face when they are at home due to the building and atmosphere they play in, they will come to play hard against a ranked UConn team here. St. John's has also been improving as the season goes on and they have been playing much better in this 2nd half of the season. St. John's has a good chance to win this game at home and crush UConn's hopes even further of making the tournament this March. St. John's will win this game in a close fight.
