UAB vs Georgia Prediction

The current betting odds have UAB listed as a 40 point underdog in this game according to Draftkings Sportsbook. UAB hasn't been great this season with their 1-2 record overall and they were just embarrassed at home in their last game as they lost by 20 points to ULL. They will be looking to have a much better performance here despite being on the road and this is a lot of points for Georgia to cover even though they are the 1st ranked team in the country. Georgia has a good defense but they have already been giving up a lot more points in their games this season than they were last year. UAB is going to be able to find ways to put up points in this game but the Georgia offense hasn't been putting up a lot of points either. Georgia struggled at home in their last game to beat South Carolina and even in their first 2 games of the season they weren't really putting up a ton of points as they haven't hit 50+ points in a game this season. That trend is going to continue here with the way they like to run the ball and as long as UAB can get a score here, that is going to be a really tough number for UGA to cover as they will barely score more than 40 points in this game. The best way to place a bet here is on UAB to cover the spread in this game.
