Coastal Carolina Chanticleers Analysis
CCU is coming into this FBS college football game with a 6-1 record overall and they are 4-0 in their home games this season where they will be in this game. This will be the 4th conference matchup on their schedule this year and they are in a good spot right now with a 2-1 record in their conference games this season. Their 2 wins came against the ULM Warhawks and the Arkansas State Red Wolves while their 1 loss came against App State in their last game. Troy vs Coastal Carolina Prediction
CCU is coming into this game as about 19-point favorites and the point total set at 52.5 with the current betting odds according to Draftkings Sportsbook. They are coming off of their first loss of the season which dropped them from number 14 in the nation to number 24 and they will likely be angry and looking for a blowout win here to prove that game was just a fluke. Troy has not been that great this year and Troy’s games that they have won in the conference were both very close games. CCU is still a much better team despite their 1 loss and they will play for a blowout here, the Coastal Carolina players are just better than the Troy players. The best bet to place in this game is on CCU to cover the spread here.

Players to Watch
Troy Trojans: Kimani Vidal is one player to watch in this contest. He leads his team in rushing yards this season. He is coming off of a game where he led his team in rushing with over 150 yards and also had 2 touchdowns on the ground in that game. Troy will need to slow the pace down in this game if they are going to win here so look for Vidal to get plenty of touches in this one.
Coastal Carolina Chanticleers: Jaivon Heiligh is one player to watch in this one. He leads his team in receiving yards this season. He is coming off of a game where he led his team in receiving with over 100 yards and they were not able to do much on the ground in that game. They will be looking for a win by a large margin here so look for them to throw the ball for big plays here and for Heiligh to be on the other end of those plays.
"A good opportunity for us. The last couple of years that game has kind of come down to the wire." - Chip Lindsey on his optimism in their next game against CCU.
"We've made a lot of strides over the last six weeks. Our program is making huge strides to where when we get our foundation right, we have a chance to be in a real special place. What we need is to hopefully start putting that thing in place." - Jamey Chadwell on his team’s first loss of the season.
