Raptors vs Nets Prediction

The current betting odds have the Raptors listed as a 2.5 point underdog in this game according to Draftkings Sportsbook. The Raptors looked really good in their 1st game of the season with a big home win over the Cavaliers with their newly acquired star Donovan Mitchell. They won that game by just 3 points but the Nets opened their season looking a lot worse with a blow out loss at home against the Pelicans. The Nets didn't look good at all in that game with Durant, Irving, and Simmons all playing together for the 1st time as they got down early in the 1st quarter and were never able to make a comeback. The Nets had a lot of problems in the offseason with Durant wanting to leave the team and it has translated onto the court now with that terrible performance in their 1st game. The Raptors have a lot of quality players keeping their core starters the same as last season and they had a much better season than the Nets last year finishing 5th place in the East. The Raptors have a lot of chemistry on the court playing together and until the Nets start to build some of their own chemistry, it is going to be rough for them. The best way to place a bet here is on the Raptors to cover the spread in this game.
