Toledo vs Ohio State Prediction

The current betting odds have OSU listed as a 32 point favorite in this game according to Draftkings Sportsbook. Ohio State got off to a slow start as they did last year, getting a close win by 11 points against Notre Dame but they did not have full control of that game. They looked a lot better last week though and they will start to roll now that we are getting deeper into the season. Stroud is looking to have another big year this season as the NFL draft is looming for him and he also has a possible National Championship on his mind after the way things ended last year. Toledo is a good team in the MAC that always performs well in their conference but they do not have the kind of talent on their team to keep up with Ohio State in this game. Ohio State is also at home and coming off of a big win there, they will want to continue rolling over these bad teams as they get ready for their conference schedule. This is a team that has their eyes set on a Big Ten title and a National Championship title, this game is not going to be close. The best way to place a bet here is on OSU to cover the spread in this game.

“Now the challenge for us is to take the jump from Week 2 to 3 here and obviously this opponent this week is a monster. One that’s a tremendous challenge for us and a program we have a lot of respect for and coaching staff we have a lot of respect for and know the talent and tradition and history that place has. I think it’ll be a great opportunity for our guys to go down there and compete in a great environment." - Jason Candle on this upcoming game against OSU.

"He's further along than he was at this point last week. We're going to expect him to play this weekend, we'll see how this week goes, but we're going to only put him in the game if we feel 100% sure that he's ready to roll." - Ryan Day on the status of Jaxon Smith-Njigba ahead of this game against Toledo.
