Rangers vs Marlins Prediction

The current betting odds have the Marlins listed as a slight favorite in this game. Neither of these teams were playing very well going into the All-Star break as they were both going into the break on losing streaks. Both have had a few days off to rest now and should be ready for the 2nd half of the season. The Marlins have been pretty good at home this season and they are starting Lopez in this game who has been one of the best starters on their pitching staff this season, between him and Alcantara. The Rangers were not scoring a lot of runs going into the break, the Marlins were not scoring much either but they were losing in lower scoring games while the Rangers were having their bullpen get beat up in that last series. They have not been performing well recently and they have Gray starting here who has been very good recently, but also struggled a lot for most of the season. Lopez has been a much more reliable and consistent pitcher all season and the Marlins bullpen has also been a lot better than the Rangers bullpen recently. The Marlins are at home here and have the better pitching matchup in this game. The best way to place a bet here is on the Marlins to win this game and bounce back here right after the All-Star break.
