Arkansas has looked good in their games this season with their 5-4 record overall, but their 3-3 conference record has them in the middle of the pack and pretty much out of the running. They are coming out of their bye week for this game and do have some impressive wins this season, like their win over Tennessee which is Tennessee's only loss this year, but they are also coming off a 63-31 loss at home against Ole Miss in their last one and have been too inconsistent from game to game. Texas stumbled a bit after their loss to Georgia, but they looked a lot better in their win last week and now after seeing the way things are shaking out in the SEC, they are going to be motivated to finish the season strong and do whatever they can to get themselves to the SEC Championship.
