Temple vs Memphis Prediction

The current betting odds have Temple listed as a 19 point underdog in this game according to Draftkings Sportsbook. Temple hasn't been bad this year despite their 2-2 start to the season. They are in the middle of a QB transition as E.J. Warner is taking over the starting duties and they have looked a lot better with him starting. This will be his 3rd start after coming in the game midway through against Lafayette, and they just pulled off a shutout win against UMass in their last game. They are getting a much tougher opponent here going on the road in Memphis but Memphis hasn't been blowing out many teams this year. The only game they won by over 20 points was against Navy but their defense has been really bad since then, giving up 30+ points in their last 2 games. Memphis can score points but Temple's offense with Warner leading the way will be a lot better in his 3rd start here and they will have no trouble moving the ball and scoring on this bad defense that has been giving up a lot lately. This is still a conference game and Memphis won't be able to roll over Temple if their defense keeps giving up points all game. The best way to place a bet here is on Temple to cover the spread in this game.
