TCU vs Colorado Prediction
The current betting odds have TCU listed as an 11 point favorite in this game according to Draftkings Sportsbook. TCU did not have a great season last year but the old regime is out and they are starting with a new head coach for this season. There is going to be a lot of changes in this program this season but this should be a much improved team under their new head coach Sonny Dykes as he has somewhat of a foundation to stand on with a lot of key contributors from the offense last year returning for another season, including their starting QB and a few of their receivers as well. Colorado had a very bad season last year with an offense that did not move the ball well at all. Their offense is going to be a lot different with a lot of new faces on this starting roster but this is Dorrell's 3rd season as coach and the offense has not been good any year under him yet. He claims they are in a much better state than when he got there but it will be hard for him to get this offense going this season with all of the new faces learning the system. TCU has a pretty good team that is ready to take a big step from last year under their new coach and they could easily turn this game into a one-sided affair. The best way to place a bet here is on TCU to cover the spread here.

Notable Quotes
“It is what it is, and people do what they do. Our players were getting on the bus to go to the hotel and they knew when guys were going to be on the bus and they knew when guys were going to be on their phone, and they tried to stick it to me, and I think they stuck it to our players. That’s just the way it is.” - Sonny Dykes on the leak of his exit at SMU.
“This program is in such better shape than when I got here. It’s ready to be built on the way, so if it doesn’t work out for me right now because I had a heart attack or whatever that is, my family and I know that it’s in much better shape right now than when I had it two years ago.” - Karl Dorrell on the state of the program this season compared to when he got there.
