Rays vs Mariners Prediction

The current betting odds have the Rays listed as a slight favorite in this game according to Draftkings Sportsbook. The Rays have been rolling all season with the best record in the entire MLB and they have also had one of the best offenses in the league all year. They haven't been as good in their road games this season but they still have a winning road record and just won 2 road games in a row against a really good D-Backs team. The Rays also have good pitching though which has made them such a tough team to beat on any night and it won't be any easier here for the Mariners with Glasnow on the mound. Glasnow has been great in his starts lately, he had a rough start when he came back from his injury but he has been nothing but great since then, not giving up many runs in any of his starts lately. The team has also been finding success with him on the mound and the Mariners haven't really been a team with a good offense this season. They will struggle to put up runs in this game and the Rays won't struggle as much since they have been putting up runs all year. The Mariners also have Kirby starting here and even though he hasn't been giving up a ton of runs in his starts, he still has 7 losses this season which is more than he has wins and a big part of that has been due to a lack of offense. The Mariners don't have the offense to compete with the Rays in this series and the Rays can match the Mariners with pitching no matter who they throw out on the mound. The best way to place a bet here is on the Rays to win this game.

Rays Mariners Prediction:  Our MLB Pick for Saturday, July 1, 2023 (7:15 pm ET start time) is Rays 3 Mariners 1.
