Rays vs Orioles Prediction

The current betting odds have the Rays listed as a favorite in this game. The Rays have been playing well in their recent games, they just stumbled against the Royals but the Royals were also very fresh for that series with a lot of well rested players in their lineup from the All-Star break and a series in Toronto right before that. The Orioles have been playing very well recently as well, but they have lost 2 of their last 3 against the Yankees and have started to cool off as they were shutout on Sunday. The Rays have been beating up on the Orioles all season though, winning 2 of their 3 games against them right before the break, and the Rays also have a much better pitching staff as well. These offenses are very similar in the sense that both have not been very good all season but are starting to heat up in recent weeks now. McClanahan is starting for the Rays though and he has been lights out all season, rarely having a bad start in his games. Watkins is starting for the Orioles and he has not been nearly as good this season, pitching well recently but he does not have a good bullpen to back him up like the Rays as the Orioles have been allowing a lot of late runs recently. The best way to place a bet here is on the Rays to win this game.

Rays Orioles Prediction:  Our MLB Pick for Tuesday, July 26, 2022 (7:05 pm ET start time) is Rays 3 Orioles 1.

"I don't think anybody should pitch to him. The guy is unbelievable. He's hitting good pitches. He's hitting mistakes. Normally when a guy's hot, he's hitting doubles and singles. He's hitting the ball out of the ballpark, and it's crazy. He's a good hitter. What can you say?" - Robinson Chirinos on Judge after their loss against the Yankees on Sunday.
