Syracuse vs Wake Forest Prediction

The current betting odds have Syracuse listed as a 10 point underdog in this game according to Draftkings Sportsbook. Syracuse just took a really bad loss last week losing 38-3 to FSU but ever since they lost their game against Clemson they have been spiraling out of control losing 3 games in a row. They need to stop the bleeding and their offense has been terrible in their last few games but Wake Forest has not been great on defense this season and that should help Syracuse on offense here. They will be looking to respond with a much better effort here and Wake Forest could be due for a letdown after a big game against UNC last week which they lost by 2 points at home. Wake Forest hasn't been great this year and their offense has been their strength but Syracuse does have a good defense and Wake Forest will struggle to move the ball here. Syracuse needs a bounce back win badly and even if they can't pull it off here, they will keep this game a lot closer within 1 score. The best way to place a bet here is on Syracuse to cover the spread in this game.

Notable Quotes

"Maybe we need to get away and circle the wagons. We've got to find a way to get into the end zone." - Dino Babers after his team’s loss against FSU in their last game.

“I have to find a way to help our team start faster. In three of our four losses, we've just gotten off to bad starts. [In] all of those games, we battled back and took the lead. But we can't keep spotting people 13 and 14-point leads in the first quarter and expect to come back and beat good [teams].” - Dave Clawson on his team coming into this game.
