Syracuse vs Pittsburgh Prediction

The current betting odds have Syracuse listed as a 3.5 point underdog in this game according to Draftkings Sportsbook. Syracuse has been having a great season this year as they opened by winning 6 games in a row. They have lost 2 games in a row now and seem to be slowing down, but this team is really good and their losses have not even been that bad. They lost their 1st game to Clemson who is the only undefeated team left in the ACC right now and that game went right down to the very end as Syracuse lost it 27-21. Then Syracuse lost last week at home to Notre Dame who was very hungry for a win and catching Syracuse in a really bad letdown spot from their big game against Clemson. Syracuse will be looking to bounce back themselves now and Pittsburgh hasn't really looked that good in their games lately. Pittsburgh has lost a few games in a row now and they finally looked like they were going to win a game against UNC on the road last week, but they blew a lead in the 4th quarter and completely collapsed giving up 21 points to lose by double digits. Pittsburgh is not playing well right now and this is a much better Syracuse team that is going to be looking for a win here and might even pull off the upset. The best way to place a bet here is on Syracuse to cover the spread in this game.

Notable Quotes

"I'm really disappointed about the loss but still feel good about this football team. We're 6-2, the two opponents that we just played were extremely, extremely physical. Obviously, some of that stuff has taken a toll. I told the team to stay together which we will do." - Dino Babers after his team’s loss against Notre Dame in their last game.

"The fourth quarter wasn't good enough. We turned the ball over again in the fourth quarter, which started the tumble. It seems like every week we've got one of those." - Pat Narduzzi after his team’s loss against UNC in their last game.
