South Alabama vs UCLA Prediction

The current betting odds have South Alabama listed as a 14.5 point underdog in this game according to Draftkings Sportsbook. South Alabama has had a strong start to their season and they looked really good in their win against CMU last week. They came out strong and took a big lead in the 1st half, putting CMU in a position where they could not come back. South Alabama will have a lot more trouble doing that on the road here but they should stay play a good game against UCLA as UCLA has had some trouble coming out strong in their games. UCLA has won both of their games by big margins, but they struggled in the 1st half getting out to a big lead in both of those. They also played 2 very bad teams with one being from the FCS and the other being one of the worst teams in the MAC over the last few years. South Alabama can throw the ball well and they have a good offense that can put up points and keep this a closer game. UCLA is in their 5th season with head coach Chip Kelly but year after year they fail to get the ball rolling and once the games get tougher, they will have that same problem this year. The best way to place a bet here is on South Alabama to cover the spread in this game.
