SMU vs Oklahoma Prediction

The current betting odds have Oklahoma listed as a 16 point favorite in this game according to Draftkings Sportsbook. Oklahoma looked really good in their 1st game after having a terrible season last year. They did play at home against Arkansas State who doesn't have a good team this season, but they still throttled another FBS program 73-0 in that game. Their offense looks a lot better than it was a year ago and their defense was really stout which is the whole reason Venables was brought in. He has improved this defense a lot and this will be another game where the Oklahoma offense tries to run up the score while the defense keeps SMU down. SMU doesn't have a great team this season, they did win their 1st game by a large margin but they were also at home against a bad LA Tech team. Now they go on the road against an Oklahoma team that is trying to prove themselves as one of the best teams in the country this season and this game is not going to end well for SMU. The best way to place a bet here is on Oklahoma to cover the spread in this game.

SMU Oklahoma Prediction:  Our NCAAF Pick for Saturday, September 9, 2023 (6:00 pm ET start time) is Oklahoma 56 SMU 13.
