Seahawks vs Falcons Prediction

The current betting odds have the Seahawks listed as a 7 point favorite in this game according to Draftkings Sportsbook. The Seahawks have looked really good in their games this season with their 9-3 record overall which has them right near the top of the NFC West. They have also been a great road team this year with their 5-1 road record. Meanwhile, the Falcons haven't looked good in their games this season with their 4-8 record overall which has them right near the bottom of the NFC South. They haven't looked that good on their home field either with their 2-3 home record this season. The Falcons had a nice start to the season, but they have been a disaster lately and have completely fallen out of the playoff race. Penix is out for the season now and that was a huge blow to this offense. The offense hasn't looked the same with Cousins and their defense hasn't looked that good lately either. They are off a 27-24 loss to the Jets in their last one and they have been struggling against some bad teams in the NFL. The Seahawks have looked great lately though, off a 26-0 win over the Vikings in their last one, and they have one of the best defenses in the NFL too. They also have a really good offense that has been putting up a ton of points this year and they have been blowing out teams even when Darnold hasn't been at his best. The Falcons aren't going to do much against this Seahawks defense and the Seahawks will be able to pull away throughout the game. The best way to place a bet here is on the Seahawks to cover the spread in this game.

Seahawks Falcons Prediction:  Our NFL Pick for Sunday, December 7, 2025 (1:00 pm ET start time) is Seahawks 30 Falcons 10.

Notable Quotes

“It’s unbelievable to have a defense like this, just consistently. For us as an offense, especially, for me personally. Like, I hate putting them in positions to where I’m getting a sack, fumble, and the defense is recovering it and now they’re all the sudden, they’re down in the red zone.” - Sam Darnold after their win against the Vikings in their last game.

“It’s always tough to lose in this league and it’s a lot tougher when you don’t have production. I’m proud of the way Bijan played and the guys around him who helped him have a day like he had. ... I just wish it had been in a win, and he does, too." - Kirk Cousins after their loss against the Jets in their last game.
