A National League West Matchup between last season’s big dogs. Last season’s top and tough teams that would go on to duel it out head to head for a trip to the World Series. When the MLB nerdy brain trust got together to design a schedule that would maximize drama and ratings… It seemed completely natural. “Let’s put the Giants against the Dodgers to start a 4-game series the first night we return from the All-Star break!!” they all shouted.
