49ers vs Steelers Prediction

The current betting odds have the 49ers listed as a 2 point favorite in this game according to Draftkings Sportsbook. The 49ers were really good last season despite having 3 different QB's start for them during the regular season. They finished with a 13-4 record overall and went all the way to the NFC Finals which they lost to the Eagles. They ended the season with Brock Purdy at QB and ever since putting him in to run this offense, they have been averaging a lot more points scored per game as they were putting up 30+ in most of those games when he was the starter. The 49ers have finally found a solid answer at the QB position and they have a ton of talent on their offense at every position along with a really good defense too that has been their strong suit for years. The Steelers have also improved a lot this season with Pickett now in his 2nd season of the NFL and a really good head coach in Mike Tomlin who always puts out a winning team even when the talent isn't all there. Their defense is still really good and with 2 good defenses here, this game will come down to who has the better offense to crack these good defenses and the 49ers simply have more talent at every position on the offense than the Steelers do. The Steelers will try to keep this game close with their great defense being at home here but the 49ers have too much talent on their offense to be stopped, especially with the explosive element Purdy now brings to this offense. The best way to place a bet here is on the 49ers to cover the spread in this game.
