49ers vs Eagles Prediction

The current betting odds have the Eagles listed as a 4.5 point favorite in this game according to Draftkings Sportsbook. The Eagles have looked good in their games this season with their 11-6 record overall which had them right at the top of the NFC East. They have looked good on their home field too with their 5-3 home record this year. Meanwhile, the 49ers have looked really good in their games this season with their 12-5 record overall, but that record had them near the bottom of the NFC West in a competitive division. They have been a great road team though with their 7-2 road record this year. The 49ers have looked great on offense over the last few weeks, putting up a ton of points in their games, and they have been getting by with a ton of injuries on defense. Their defense hasn't looked great in their games lately though, giving up a ton of points, and their offense really fell flat in their last game against a top defense in the NFL. They are off a 13-3 loss at home to the Seahawks in a game where they had a chance to get the number 1 seed in the NFC, and their offense couldn't do anything in that game. The Eagles haven't looked good offensively all season, but their defense has been carrying the team as they still have one of the best defenses in the NFL, and that defense is going to cause problems for this 49ers offense that looked terrible against a good defense last week. The Eagles were not as dominant as they were last season, but they still have one of the best teams in the NFL with the talent they have, and they are still the defending Super Bowl champions so they aren't going out easily in any games. The best way to place a bet here is on the Eagles to cover the spread in this game.

49ers Eagles Prediction:  Our NFL Pick for Saturday, January 11, 2026 (4:30 pm ET start time) is Eagles 20  49ers 10.

Notable Quotes

“We’re ready for it. It would have been nice to have a home game here — or both home games — and get a bye. But it is what it is. This team’s been through a lot this year. Now we got to do it the hard way.” - Kyle Shanahan after his team’s loss against the Seahawks in their last game.

“I knew this was an outcome, that these things could happen. One thing I could guarantee was giving them rest. I couldn't guarantee them anything else.
