They are off a 24-10 road win over the Raiders in their last one with Shedeur Sanders picking up a win in his rookie debut as a starter. The offense didn't look bad and the defense looked great as they have all season, but that was also against the Raiders who are one of the worst teams in the NFL. The defense has been keeping them in games all season while the offense flails, but this is going to be a big step up in talent from last week. This Browns offense isn't going to have the same success against a much better 49ers defense, and the 49ers offense has looked a lot better with Purdy back. They are off a 20-9 win over the Panthers in their last one and that wasn't a great performance by the offense, but the defense did their job and this is a game that the 49ers need a lot more with the strength of their division. The 49ers have won 2 games in a row now and are starting to roll with some momentum, look for them to shut down this Browns offense in Shedeur's 2nd start. The best way to place a bet here is on the 49ers to cover the spread in this game.
