49ers vs Panthers Prediction

The current betting odds have the 49ers listed as a 4.5 point favorite in this game according to Draftkings Sportsbook. The 49ers are only 2-2 this year but they have a very good team and could be one of the best in the NFL right now. Their season started off rocky as they were transitioning to Trey Lance at QB but a season ending injury for him has thrusted Jimmy Garoppolo back into the starting role and this team is back to looking like the team that went to the Super Bowl a few years ago and almost made it back last year. This defense is great and the offense has a lot of explosive weapons with a great coach in Kyle Shanahan making the calls too. The Panthers haven't looked good at all this year, they have some weapons on their offense and a very good defense too but the offense hasn't been able to get going with Baker Mayfield under center and it has been putting too much stress on the defense to keep them in games. The 49ers defense is just as good if not better and they are going to make it very difficult for Baker to move the ball here. The 49ers offense will find ways to score on this good defense too and this will just be another game in the win column for them. The best way to place a bet here is on the 49ers to cover the spread in this game.
