Rutgers vs Temple Prediction

The current betting odds have Rutgers listed as a 17.5 point favorite in this game according to Draftkings Sportsbook. Rutgers is off to a very good start this season with an impressive road win over Boston College in their season opener and now a convincing win at home over an FCS team in their last game. Temple does not have a very good team this year and it was very apparent last week when they struggled to beat Lafayette from the FCS at home. They still won that game but their starting QB was so bad in the game they needed to pull him and bench him for the rest of that one. Temple has a big question mark at quarterback right now and it is not going to be solved so quickly in this game. Rutgers has a good coach with a good defense that will prevent Temple from scoring a lot here, and Rutgers has shown with their offense that they can get it going after that first game. Their offense is starting to click now and they will only get better as the year goes on under Greg Schiano. This team is on it's way up this year while Temple is on it's way down. The best way to place a bet here is on Rutgers to cover the spread in this game.
