Rutgers vs Maryland Prediction

The current betting odds have Maryland listed as a 14 point favorite in this game according to Draftkings Sportsbook. Maryland just had a tough loss against OSU last week who is the 2nd ranked team in the country but they did not play bad at all in that game and continued to keep themselves in the game with good offense. Rutgers has been improving under Greg Schiano but this program is still a far way away from being good and they have really struggled to win games on the road this year. They have been terrible in their road games and Maryland just put up a really good fight against the 2nd best team in the country. Maryland is going to be looking for a bounce back win here at home in their last game of the regular season and they have the offense to pull away in this game making it out of reach for a bad Rutgers offense. Once Rutgers falls behind by too much here, they do not have the offense to pull off a comeback and they really have nothing left to play for this season since they picked up their 7th loss last week making them ineligible for a bowl game. Maryland will bounce back with a much better performance here and should run away with this game on the scoreboard. The best way to place a bet here is on Maryland to cover the spread in this game.
