Purdue vs Wisconsin Prediction

The current betting odds have Purdue listed as a 2.5 point underdog in this game according to Draftkings Sportsbook. Purdue has played in some close games this year and this could be another one as they look to beat a Wisconsin team that just fired their coach recently and are coming off a loss to MSU in a game they were favored in. Purdue had to hold off Nebraska in their last game but they led for a good majority of the game and they have also played some really close games against some good teams this year. Wisconsin has been a mess all year and even had to fire their head coach midseason. They are at home here but Purdue has been playing great and they are live to win this game outright. Purdue does have a good defense but they also have a good offense that can put up a lot of points while Wisconsin has a great defense but a very bad offense and they will struggle to come back in this game if they have to play from behind here. The best way to place a bet here is on Purdue to cover the spread in this game.

Notable Quotes

"He (O'Connell) probably had five or six throws that I don't think anyone could make — throws that were just off the charts. We thought we had a decent plan to get him (Mockobee) on the edge, get him in space and, of course, he runs hard. He doesn't care who he plays, he runs hard." - Jeff Brohm after his team’s win against Nebraska in their last game.

"It will probably be more of a bye week evaluation of seeing how long-term the injury is going to be. He's definitely going to be out this week." - Jim Leonhard on Mellusi coming into this game.
