Trail Blazers vs Jazz Prediction

The Trail Blazers have not been playing very well in their recent games coming into this one. They have lost their last 5 straight games and all of those losses have been by double digits, even in games where they had a lead they ended up blowing it and still losing by double digits. The Trail Blazers are dealing with a lot of injuries right now where most of their team is out so that explains the bad play recently but they were also a big seller at the trade deadline so their team is already working with limited talent and now a lot of that limited talent is out injured and missing games. This is a recipe for disaster for the Trail Blazers and they are going to keep losing games until they get some of their players back at least. They are going up against one of the best teams in the Western Conference here but the Jazz have not been playing that well recently either. The Jazz have lost 2 of their last 3 and they did not really have a chance in those 2 losses but both were on the road and they should play a little better being back at home here. This is the perfect team for the jazz to bounce back against at home and the Jazz will have all of their starters healthy for this game. They should be able to win this game by double digits here at home.

Notable Quotes

"I sat at this microphone a couple nights ago. Obviously we lost the game, and I felt good about us. I felt good about our effort. I felt good about how hard we played, how hard we competed. Obviously, I have a different feeling today." - Chauncey Billups on his team’s loss against the Timberwolves on Monday night.

"I've got to keep my mind in the right place because my team needs me in the game. At the same time, when you've got guys on the bench that don't play, just keep talking and saying some stuff and the officials can hear and don't do anything. As a man, is it worth getting suspended? And we shouldn't have to ask ourselves that question." - Rudy Gobert on their loss against the Mavericks on Monday night.
