The Colts are entering this game with a 1-2 record overall and they have a 0-1 record in their divisional games too. Steelers vs Colts Prediction

The current betting odds have the Steelers listed as a 1.5 point favorite in this game according to Draftkings Sportsbook. The Steelers have looked great in their games this season with their 3-0 record overall. They have one of the best defenses in the NFL this season and they have been barely giving up any points. Their offense hasn't been great, but they have been doing enough with Justin Fields leading the offense, and he hasn't been losing them games with mistakes either. Meanwhile, the Colts haven't looked great in their games this season with their 1-2 record overall. They are coming off their first win of the season last week, but that win was at home against the Bears who have been struggling with a rookie QB in their first 3 games. They looked terrible on offense in their game against the Packers and this is going to be the best defense that they have seen in their first 4 games. Richardson has been really up and down in this offense and with his inconsistencies this season, he is going to struggle against this Steelers defense. This is another game that the Steelers defense can win on their own so they won't need Justin Fields and the offense to do much here. The best way to place a bet here is on the Steelers to cover the spread in this game.

Steelers Colts Prediction:  Our NFL Pick for Sunday, September 29, 2024 (1:00 pm ET start time) is Steelers 17 Colts 9.

Notable Quotes

“I feel like I'm just very calm out there, cool, calm and collected in the field and really just that sense of peace out there on the field and not rushing things. Internally, my brain, just staying calm in the pocket, making plays when I can and must doing my job.” - Justin Fields after their win against the LA Chargers in their last game.

“That stop was big. I mean, any time you get those big stops down in the tight red zone like we did, the momentum swings a little bit there. Obviously, they (the defense) played a helluva game there.” - Shane Steichen after his team’s win against the Bears in their last game.
