An MLB National League matchup between the East and the West.  Though it may not be much of a matchup.  What have we been waiting on with the Philadelphia Phillies?  It has been several season that they have had Bryce Harper now… When does the winning start?  Right now the Phillies are 2 games below .500.  Bryce is doing his part.. He has 7 home runs on the young season with a .881 OPS!  The man can hit the ball.  At the moment Bryce is on the injury list with elbow trouble yet listed as Probable for the Friday night game against the Dodgers (we are betting on Saturday).  But really how long will Philly be willing to tread water before trying to ultimately swim to shore?.  The Los Angeles Dodgers play in the toughest division in baseball… the NL West.  All five teams (at press time) have a winning record.  The San Diego Padres, the San Francisco Giants, the Arizona Diamondbacks…. They adjust because they are deep withy a deep bullpen AND are missing several key pitchers.  So what is it?... Is it money?  Does Philly literally not have enough gate money to sign a few more key players?  The Dodgers have the cash… and you can see it on the field.  

The Philadelphia Phillies have won 4 of their last ten games.  They logged 6 Overs and 4 Unders during that stretch.  They lost to the New York Mets in one game, they lost twice to the Texas Rangers, They went 1-2 against the New York Mets again, 2-1 against the Seattle Mariners, and won the first game against the Los Angeles Dodgers in this series.  The Phillies had a great night to open the series against the Dodgers with a 9-7 win.  The Phillies have great batting numbers… Would it kill them to find a couple arms for the starting rotation?
