They started their season off the right way with a win over the Atlanta Falcons but their season has quickly gone South as they have lost their last 3 games against the San Francisco 49ers, the Dallas Cowboys, and the Chiefs in their last game. Jalen Hurts played great in their last one as he completed 32/48 passes for 387 yards and 2 touchdowns. He also led the team in rushing with 47 yards on 8 carries but they were not really able to run the ball much in that game. DeVonta Smith had a great day as he led the team in receiving with 122 yards on 7 receptions. Zach Ertz also had 60 receiving yards on 6 receptions, Kenneth Gainwell had 58 yards on 6 receptions as well, and Dallas Goedert had 5 catches for 56 yards and 1 TD. Eric Wilson led the defense with 6 solo tackles and 4 assisted ones along with the only interception for his team in that game. Alex Singleton also played well on defense with 6 solo tackles and 3 assisted ones while Avonte Maddoz was right behind him with 5 solo tackles and 2 assisted ones. D.J. Moore had a big day for the receiving corps as he led them with 113 yards and 2 touchdowns on 8 receptions. Brandon Zylstra had 63 yards receiving on 2 receptions as well. Jeremy Chinn led the defense with 5 solo tackles and 1 assisted one while Shaq Thompson was right behind him with 4 solo tackles and 1 assisted one. No one on the defense recorded a sack or an interception in that game. They have scored 97 points in their first 4 games and they have allowed their opponents to score 66 points against them. Their offense has accumulated 1,550 yards this season and their defense has allowed 1,006 yards against them.

 

 

The Panthers are suffering in their run game without Christian McCaffrey but they are throwing the ball more now and still managing to keep up as they scored 28 against Dallas last week in a game that the Cowboys were pulling away in. The Eagles have not had trouble scoring on offense or keeping up with teams either, it has been their defense that is sinking them. The Eagles have scored over 20 points and over 30 points in their last 2 games but their defense let them down by allowing over 40 points in both games. Considering how both of these offenses are moving the ball well and scoring a lot of points, the best bet to place in this game is on the over as there should be a lot of points scored from both sides here.

Ever since McCaffrey went out with an injury, he has been running the ball more himself and getting into the end zone. Look for him to keep grinding out the wins in their games and doing whatever it takes for him to get that win for his team.
