Orlando Magic Analysis

The Magic are coming into this game with a 19-53 record overall and they are 10-27 in their road games this season where they will be in this game. They have lost 3 of their last 4 games but are coming into this one off of a win in their last game which snapped a 3 game losing streak that they were on. Their 3 losses in that span were against the Philadelphia 76ers, the Brooklyn Nets, and the Detroit Pistons while their win came against the Oklahoma City Thunder in their last game. They still have a game against the Golden State Warriors on Tuesday night that needs to be played first so this will be the 2nd leg of a back-to-back for them on Wednesday night. In their game against the Thunder, Wendell Carter Jr. led the team in points in that game with 30 while Franz Wagner was next on the team with 11 points. Cole Anthony led the team in assists in that game with 7 while Carter Jr. led the team in rebounds with 16. They were 38.6% from the field, 22.6% from 3-point range, and 79.2% from the free throw line with their shots in that game. Their offense is averaging 104.3 PPG and their defense is averaging their opponents to average 112.1 PPG against them. The Magic have an ATS record of 33-39 this season and their O/U record is 36-35-1.

Oklahoma City Thunder Analysis

The Thunder are coming into this game with a 20-52 record overall and they are 9-27 in their home games this season where they will be in this game. They have lost 11 of their last 12 games and are coming into this one on a 10 game losing streak. Their last win was against the Denver Nuggets while their 10 losses since then have come against the Minnesota Timberwolves, the Utah Jazz, the Milwaukee Bucks, the Timberwolves again, the Memphis Grizzlies, the Charlotte Hornets, the San Antonio Spurs, the Miami Heat, the Orlando Magic, and the Boston Celtics in their last game. Tre Mann led the team in points in that game with 35 while Shai Gilgeous-Alexander was next on the team with 31 points. Darius Bazley also scored 22 points in that one as well. Gilgeous-Alexander led the team in assists in that game with 9 while Bazley led the team in rebounds with 10. They were 51.6% from the field, 45.9% from 3-point range, and 71.4% from the free throw line with their shooting in that game. Their offense is averaging 103.1 PPG and their defense is averaging their opponents to average 111 PPG against them. The Thunder have an ATS record of 43-25-4 this season and their O/U record is 36-36.

Magic vs Thunder Prediction

The Magic are coming into this game off of a win in their last game and that win came against this same Thunder team. The Magic just won that game by 5 points at home but now they will be on the road for this rematch and they even have a game against the Warriors, one of the best teams in the NBA right now, scheduled in between those 2 games against the Thunder. The Thunder also had to play the Celtics between their 2 games against the Magic but they are not on a back-to-back here so they will be more rested for this game and they will be at home for it. The Thunder have been awful recently as they have been missing a lot of their players to injuries but they have lost 10 straight games as well. They still have one of the best ATS records in the NBA this season though and they will likely keep this game close at home against another bad team just like them. The Thunder only lost their last game by single digits against the Celtics and they are going to win another game sooner or later. This will be their best chance to win another game as the Magic have not been good this season and the Thunder play well at home so that is a big possibility. The Thunder will at least keep this game close but they should be able to win it at home by just a few points.
