Oregon State vs Fresno State Prediction

The current betting odds have Fresno State listed as a PK in this game according to Draftkings Sportsbook. Oregon State looked very good in their win over Boise State last week and they are a much improved team from last season. They are going to be a good team this year but Fresno State is also a very good team too, and Oregon State hasn't been a good road team over the last few seasons. Fresno State has a very good program that is always competing for a MWC title year after year. They also play great when they are at home and they are going to bring their best effort against Oregon State here. Oregon State is 0-6 straight up in their school history when playing in Fresno State as well. Fresno State also has a much better running game and their QB is a lot more talented too. Both of these teams have good offenses but this game could come down to quarterback play and Fresno State just has the better offense here at home. The best way to place a bet here is on Fresno State to win this game and cover the spread here.

Notable Quotes

“Starts with his arm talent. He can throw it and make all the throws accurate. Know the kid well. Tough, good decision-maker, won’t back down to anything.” - Jonathan Smith on Jake Haener coming into this game against Fresno State.

“I think everybody’s motivated by the here and now type of thing. Maybe they are; I can't tell you what they’re motivated by. We won’t use it as motivation for us. It’s another game. It's a different season. I don’t even know when the last time they played here was; early 2000s or something? I don’t even know. When was it? That’s a long time ago. Some of our kids weren’t even born then. We have enough to focus on without things like that that really make no difference to us. We have to focus on our execution. Oregon State’s a great football team, and we’re going to have to play our best to have a chance to win.” - Jeff Tedford on Oregon State’s 0-6 record in Fresno ahead of this game against them.
