Oregon vs Texas Tech Prediction

The current betting odds have Oregon listed as a 6.5 point favorite in this game according to Draftkings Sportsbook. Oregon won their 1st game of the season and even though it was at home to a team from the FCS, they still looked really good as they put up 81 points in that game. Now they go on the road to take on a much improved Texas Tech team but Texas Tech still lost their season opener in Wyoming and they are going to be feeling the effects of that game at such a high altitude. Texas Tech will play better at home here after that bad OT loss but Oregon is still one of the best teams in the country with a National Championship on their mind and after the way they looked in week 1, they are going to roll this Texas Tech team that isn't quite there yet. Oregon also has plenty to prove this season with this being the last year of the Pac-12 so look for them to run up the score here and win in another blowout. The best way to place a bet here is on Oregon to cover the spread in this game.

Oregon Texas Tech Prediction:  Our NCAAF Pick for Saturday, September 9, 2023 (7:00 pm ET start time) is Oregon 49 Texas Tech 21.

Notable Quotes

“All right. I hear the Duck is still doing push-ups. But it’s a good day out there today, got to see us execute at a high level. You know, that’s the expectation for us. We talk about it’s a standard. That’s how we measure ourself is based on the standard not necessarily on the scoreboard. Certainly some things that we can clean up and things that we can improve on. But overall it was you know, glad to see Autzen bouncing today, had great energy from the crowd. Got a lot of players some experience it’s going to be definitely needed throughout the season.” - Dan Lanning after his team’s win against Portland State in their last game.
