Oregon vs Iowa Prediction

The current betting odds have Oregon listed as a 6.5 point favorite in this game according to Draftkings Sportsbook. Oregon has looked really good in their games this season with their 7-1 record overall and their 4-1 conference record which has them right near the top of the Big Ten. Their only loss was at home to Indiana who is the 2nd ranked team in the nation, but they have a chance to make a statement here with a big road win. Meanwhile, Iowa has looked really good in their games this season with their 6-2 record overall and their 4-1 conference record which has them right near the top of the Big Ten. They aren't ranked inside the top 25 in the AP poll, but they are ranked inside the top 20 in the CFP rankings and have been making a case for themselves as a playoff team. They do have a loss to Iowa State in a tight one, but they also have a really tight loss to Indiana in a 1 score game too. They have a chance to make a statement with a big upset win, but Oregon will also be looking to make their own statement and they do have a lot more talent on their team. Iowa has a really good defense that doesn't give up much so it isn't going to be easy for this Oregon offense, but Oregon also has a great defense to keep this Iowa offense at bay. Iowa is off a 41-3 win over Minnesota in their last one, but their offense hasn't really looked that great all season and Oregon has a big advantage in that area. Both defenses are going to keep this a tighter game at first, but Oregon's much better offense should be enough for them to get the job done on the road. The best way to place a bet here is on Oregon to cover the spread in this game.

Oregon Iowa Prediction:  Our NCAAF Pick for Saturday, November 8, 2025 (3:30 pm ET start time) is Oregon 21 Iowa 10.

Notable Quotes

“I think the most important thing about Jordon is how much he's able to handle. He's a really really smart player. We do a lot formationally, we have a lot of different plays. For him to be able to execute those plays at a really high level, when the call comes in, he's doing his job.” - Dan Lanning after his team’s win against Wisconsin in their last game.

“We were getting the ball to our playmakers. I really liked the rhythm we had in the first half.” - Mark Gronowski after their win against Minnesota in their last game.
