Ole Miss vs Vanderbilt Prediction

The current betting odds have Ole Miss listed as a 17 point favorite in this game according to Draftkings Sportsbook. Ole Miss had a very good season last year and then they lost their starting QB to the NFL draft, but they have rebuilt this team well and are already off to another undefeated start this season. Lane Kiffin is really building a great program at Ole Miss and this is a very dangerous team once again. They can score a lot of points in their games as they did last year but the defense has improved a lot this year and they aren't giving up as many points now. Vanderbilt has not had a very good start to their season, they have had some extra rest here as they just had a bye week but their last game was a 55-3 dismantling by Alabama and they aren't going to be able to do much more here. Vanderbilt has already had to switch QBs after what was a promising start to the season and there is no consistency in their offense. Ole Miss will put up a ton of points on them that they won't be able to keep up and they will struggle to even keep up with this much improved Ole Miss defense. The best way to place a bet here is on Ole Miss to cover the spread in this game.

Notable Quotes

“One of the things that I’ve been impressed with is just the various ways in which they use to be effective and move the ball. They will take what you give them.
