Ole Miss vs Arkansas Prediction

The current betting odds have Ole Miss listed as a 2 point favorite in this game according to Draftkings Sportsbook. Ole Miss has been having a great season and they almost had a chance to go to the SEC Finals if they did not lose to Alabama last week. They lost in a close game but they have still been playing very well all year and they have a good coach in Lane Kiffin who will have this team ready for this game and ready to bounce back here. Arkansas just had a very close loss at home to LSU last week where they could have spoiled LSU's chances of going to the SEC Finals but now with their loss LSU will likely be going and Arkansas is now missing their starting QB to injury as well. Arkansas was not able to do much on offense last week only putting up 10 points on LSU and Ole Miss is a team that can put up a ton of points in their games. Ole Miss is the better team here and they are going to bounce back after that close loss last week while Arkansas has been struggling all year and will be due for a letdown after almost beating LSU last week. The best way to place a bet here is on Ole Miss to cover the spread in this game.

Notable Quotes

"It's a shame. We had the ball in our hands at the end of the game and the crowd was in it, but we didn't get it done. They've got great players and great coaches, too, but it's just a shame." - Lane Kiffin after his team’s loss against Alabama in their last game.

"I think the defense played so well that that gave us a chance. They kept us in it. I thought when Landers got the long one that we were going to rally around that and it seemed like it was the same story. Just didn't seem to find a way to be consistent." - Sam Pittman after his team’s loss against LSU in their last game.
