Old Dominion vs Virginia Prediction
The current betting odds have ODU listed as a 10 point underdog in this game according to Draftkings Sportsbook. ODU looked very good in their 1st game of the year when they upset VA Tech at home, but they were not that great in their last game getting blown out in East Carolina. Their coach did put that game on him though, saying he allowed his team to let that 1st win of the season linger, but now they should be back on track here in this road game more focused on it after that loss. Virginia hasn't looked great themselves in their 1st 2 games this season. They beat an FCS Richmond team at home in a game they took a big lead in letting it slip away in the 2nd half with bad mistakes, and then they lost their game in Illinois last week in a game where they must've missed the bus for because they did not show up at all in that 24-3 loss. Now they are laying 10 points at home against an ODU team that isn't as bad as their performance on the road last week and will be hungry for a win here with a worse team up on the block. This is a great bounce back spot for ODU and is a game that they could even win outright. The best way to place a bet here is on ODU to cover the spread in this game.
Old Dominion Virginia Prediction: Our NCAAF Pick for Saturday, September 17, 2022 (2:00 pm ET start time) is ODU 26 UVA 20.
