Oklahoma vs TCU Prediction

The current betting odds have Oklahoma listed as a 6.5 point favorite in this game according to Draftkings Sportsbook. Oklahoma just took a very bad loss at home to KSU and they may have just destroyed their season as there is no real chance of them getting into the final four now. They can still win their conference championship though since it is only 1 loss and very early in the season, they will have to turn up their level of play here. They will be angry from that loss last week and looking to take that out on TCU here. TCU has played well to start their season but they also haven't been given any real challenges with their opponents, but they will be getting one now. Oklahoma cannot afford to lose another game though and they have a lot more talent on their team compared to TCU. Venables is a defensive coach and he will make sure the problems on his defense are fixed in this game and they will make it hard on TCU to score here. Their offense still put up a lot of points last week and they will do the same in this game with Dillon Gabriel leading this offense and the talent he has around him. The best way to place a bet here is on Oklahoma to cover the spread in this game.

Notable Quotes

"I don't think that we played, obviously, like we have these first three weeks. It starts with the man in the mirror and it starts with us as coaches. Obviously, we did a poor job of getting our guys ready to play. Obviously, we didn't handle success very well. Sometimes, it's just the other team. They just outplayed you, outcoached you." - Brent Venables after his team’s loss against KSU in their last game.

"There wasn't a lot of talking going on. I thought it was a cleanly played, good, hotly contested football game. Just exactly what you'd want." - Sonny Dykes after his team’s win against SMU in their last game.
